That guy is totally right about the carbon footprint thing. Cattle ranching is the biggest reason for clearing the rainforests in South America. They usually say “farming” which makes it sound like a Catch-22. Locals gotta eat, right? No. They’re not growing taro and beans for themselves. They raise cattle for developed countries like us, so we can have 99 cent burritos at Taco Bell.
And also, no oxygen in the atmosphere.
